Last night during the Super Bowl there were many excellent leadership and life lessons taught.  Here are some of my thoughts.

A team who plays as a team will win over a team playing as individuals.  There is power in WE and working together for the good of the team.  Just like life we are all pieces of the puzzle and together we make each other stronger, but take one piece out and the puzzle will fall apart.

Team Support

Never give up, keep going, the breakthrough may be just one pass, run, kick, block or hit away.

Breakthrough

Don’t get overconfident, you don’t know what is around the next corner

Believe in yourself, you didn’t get this far without some belief in yourself

Believe

Don’t blame others for the mistakes you made, take ownership and change what you are doing to get where you want to be.

Stay humble, if not life will humble you.

thankful, grateful, prayer

Humility

Work hard.  The hard work will pay off.

Touchdown, Dreams, Hopes

Goals

Be consistent.  Nothing gets accomplished when we work here and there and then expect something great.

Don’t listen to the naysayers.  People will often tell you their opinion of why they think you can’t.  Don’t listen to them and do what is in your heart.

Never forget your Why.  Last night I saw a young man that so many have bashed over the years give his all and then collapse in tears at the end of the game.  I also saw a man who honors his mom and dad and his family.  I think we all saw his why last night and it had nothing to do with $$$$$.

What is your Why?

What is your why? How can you accomplish your dreams and goals?  Are you willing to give up things, take the verbal abuse of others and keep going when everyone is telling you it’s over to achieve your dreams? Stay true to your family, your team, your faith, your hopes and dreams.

Wishing each of you the very best in life.  Blessings to you.
