And sometimes treasures from heaven arrive in a box from stranger.
Today as I sat here getting into the word, praying and making declarations over my family and immediately after I just watched Kelly Norman’s video on hope, this box arrived at my door. I did not know the person on the return address label but I did know the town, Tulelake, CA. I opened this box and inside was the most beautiful prayer shawl filled with love and hope and prayers of blessings.
How did Nancy know these are my favorite colors or that the colors go with my home? How did she know to send it at exactly this moment when I needed it the most? How did she know I had wanted a prayer shawl? Even the butterflies on the certificate were perfect. You see My God knows I love butterflies, dragonflies, hummingbirds and birds. My God knew and He worked through his amazing children on this earth. My God IS working behind the scenes and HE is able to take care of all this mess. My God LOVES me and my family and He is truthful and faithful. My God will provide and protect and heal. I want to thank my Aunt Polly, for this prayer shawl came from her group that she volunteers with at the Tulelake Presbyterian Church. She has been a blessing to me my entire life. I will treasure this for the rest of my life.
As I sit here with it around my shoulders I feel at complete peace. Thank you Kelly, Aunt Polly, Donna, my cousin Judy, my sweet friend Rhonda (who brought me a beautiful hand carved angel this week), and to all of my wonderful family and friends who continuously lift me and my family up in prayer. May the Lord bless each of you and fill you with joy, health, abundance, hope and many blessings.
